Hi there guys, Poppy here, host of Fowl & Fodder and Odd Fodder’s #1 foodie! Today I’m going to review the entire Odd Fodder menu to give you an expert foodie’s deep-dive into all the wonderful things you can have to eat here. Some of the Odd Fodder hosts are partial to their own restaurants’ offerings, but I love trying new things! I always have a chef’s knife on hand to sample new foods, and I’ve been lucky to try just about everything at every restaurant in Odd Fodder! Some people may say we’re odd for it, but we’re proud to have four restaurants under one roof. That’s what makes us Toledo’s most unique restaurant! Check out my review of the Odd Fodder menu below, and come in today with your friends and family for breakfast, lunch, or dinner!
Fowl & Fodder
Saving the best for first! I may be biased, but I think Fowl & Fodder has some of Odd Fooder’s tastiest offerings, including the best food of all time: chicken & waffles.
Chicken & Waffle
Our take on this godsend food is appealing to all palettes. The delicate almond crust on our juicy chicken pairs well with every bite of our soft, fluffy waffles, and the flavors of the chicken are only enhanced by our house gravy and delicious maple syrup. I’ve had chicken and waffles at restaurants all over the country, and Odd Fodder’s certainly ranks among the tastiest.
Almond Chicken Wrap
All food groups come together to give you a filling, sweet and savory experience in our Almond Chicken Wrap! The heat and zest of the almond chicken, ancho pepper sauce is balanced out by the cabbage and cool flavors in our mango coleslaw. It’s a perfect balance of tastes that allows you to enjoy sweetness, spiciness, and savory notes, all within a multigrain wrap. Delicious!
What’s a more classic breakfast than waffles? From nearly any foodie’s perspective, this is simply a great kid’s option. Our waffles are warm and fluffy, and our syrup is perfectly sweet and savory.
Kale & Beet Salad
I’m sure you’ve read about Pip’s attempts at trying our salads before, but I’ve actually been able to have our salad without putting too much pepper on it and sneezing it across the room. You can take my word for it when I tell you this salad is just as tasty as it is healthy! Beets are often underrated despite their sweetness, and they pair well with the feta and walnuts to deliver a sweet flavor that’s balanced out by the earthiness of the kale. The lemon vinaigrette adds some nice zest and really brings out the red onions. If you’re looking for a satisfying healthy option, our Kale & Beet Salad is the way to go.
Asian Peanut Salad
This is my favorite salad at Odd Fodder. It’s a peanut-y twist on the classic Asian salad — you’ve got your carrots, green onions, sesame seeds, and cilantro in there for biting flavor, but then it’s balanced out with the coolness of the apples and cabbage. Classic setup. That flavor arrangement is taken to the next level with the addition of peanuts and our special Asian peanut dressing! Not too peanut-y as to overwhelm the other flavors in the salad, but just enough to enhance its savory nature and make it more filling.
